The Young Continentals "Setting the standard and raising the expectations of teenagers in ministry." Don't let anyone
look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers
in speech, in life, in love, in faith and in purity. Our Purpose: The Continentals were formed in 1967 as a non-profit, inter-denominational ministry. Powerful music and the message of Jesus Christ are the foundation of the Continental Ministries. Our purpose is to build each tour member personally and spiritually, to develop a missionary heart; taking every opportunity to proclaim the gospel of Christ through our musical programs as well as one-on-one, and to encourage all believers along the way to a deeper and more meaningful commitment to Christ. Since 1992, the Young Continentals have set the standard and raised the expectations of teenagers in ministry across America and around the world. These groups of 34 teenage performers and technicians present a high energy, motivating and potentially life changing evangelical program in schools and churches each day. The stage comes to life with cutting edge music, drama, choreography and sincere testimony. Teens telling teens about Christ! After an eight day rehearsal camp, The Young Continentals hit the road for four weeks of hands-on ministry. All of our Young Continental tours are staffed with experienced directors as well as two to three qualified chaperones. Tour members will also work with professional instructors in voice, dance, drama and technical engineering. Tour members of The Young Continentals are sent out as short-term missionaries, and as such, are asked to raise financial support to cover the costs of the tour. Support raised covers concert outfits, meals, housing, domestic transportation and administrative costs. It does not cover the rehearsal camp room and board fee, transporation to and from rehearsal camp, major medical/accident insurance (required) or personal spending money. The initial confirmation fee is 10% of the total sponsorship and will be deducted from the total to be raised. Tour itineraries (including dates and locations), sponsorship amounts and directors are subject to change West Coast North America (Ages 12-15)
