"Setting the standard and raising the expectations of teenagers in ministry."
Being part of the Young Continentals (YC's) can be a life-changing experience not only for the tour member, but also for the adult YC Leader. It is a unique privilege during this time to invest in their lives through quality leadership as a YC Leader.
On tour the YC Leader serves as:
1. A spiritual mentor
2. An advisor to the Director and Assistant Director (AD)
3. A liaison between
the Director and the tour
4. A policy enforcer
5. One who puts the decisions of the Director and AD into action
It is often said that today's young people are tomorrow's adults. These are the voices of the next generation to take possession of the family, the church, and our government. We cannot afford to wait until they are old and wise before we notice them. We need to offer something now!
It is obvious that teenagers are growing up in a damaged world. YOU CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE! With training and commitment on your part, you will make things happen for the positive. Your leadership will make all the difference.

The financial cost for a YC Leader is the initial confirmation/transportation fee, the rehearsal camp fee, as well as any overseas or special event (such as the 40th Celebration) costs. You are also responsible to provide your own transportation to rehearsal camp and home at the end of tour. No sponsorship is required to be raised. .
West Coast North America (Ages 12-15)
Los Angeles up the west coast to Vancouver, BC, Canada. A passport is required.

Details: The Young Continentals will take a high-energy message of hope to young people and families in churches, youth camps, and outdoor venues up and down the west coast from Los Angeles to Vancouver and everywhere in between, incorporating dance, media and full staging.
